Hold the village of Bru from enemy assault.

Reason: AWARDED Star to their Navy and Marine Corps Medal (NMCM) for dedicated conduct during an air crash occurring during the defence of Bru during Operation Pumpkinseed Relation. PO3 Bungalow, the only member of the aircraft's complement to survive the crash landing conscious, secured the injured and treated and defended them until contact was regained with SAR forces.
