Reason: AWARDED Mention in Dispatches (MID) for actions in spotting and eliminating an enemy mortar position close to the platoon's route of advance towards the enemy complex that would, had it come into operation, caused significant casualties during the assault on the Cheltnamese position in the old palace of Bao Lieu during Operation Pitch Trunks. Commendation: Whilst underfire and the squad being suppressed, Potshot spotted an enemy mortar position close to the squads route of advance and communicated it's location and threat to the rest of the squad. This allowed ERG to assault and neutralise the mortar position and use this as a rally point to step off into the assault of the main enemy position. - by Admin

Operation: Op Attention Lye - Drive the truck up to the firebase, and then defend it while we try to get the parts for the radio to get help, as we're assaulted for many days on end by waves of Chelty bastards. And a mortar. And a flame tank. And rockets.

Reason: AWARDED Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V (NMCCM-V) for killing several artillery observers and eliminating the driver of an IED truck during the defence of Firebase Warden in Operation Attention Lye (by Admin)

Operation: Op Bear Change - SAR Operation to recover the 5 crew members of a downed E2 Hawkeye aircraft.
Commendation: Excellent work as pilot of the Cobra gunship, co-ordinating well with his crew and with the ground/air net. Bravely went air to air with a pair of MiGs, protecting the vulnerable ground team and extraction helicopter from being strafed during extraction. - by Admin

Operation: Op Death Sphinx - Find the secret entrance to the enemy base through the cave on the riverfront, work your way up, find the intel and destroy the base.

Reason: AWARDED Bronze Star Medal (BSM) for repeatedly risking his life to increase the safety and effectiveness of his squadmates when acting as point element during tunnel fighting in the securing of the Cheltnamese underground fortress in Operation Death Sphinx. (by Admin)
Commendation: Alongside Misstep were the primary point element of EGR thought the tunnel network, their bravery meant that traps were discovered, ambushes were counter attacked and a supply cache was found which allowed EGR to sustain the mission. Misstep and Potshot were vital in allowing the squad to move through and out of the tunnel network, with the intension of hitting the enemy rear. - by Admin
