Operation: Op Oblong Cartoon - Sar Mission 1: rescue a pilot from a crash site NW of Lang Voi while clearing a hostile village and avoiding massive Chelt flak sites. Sar Mission 2: 2 seater down in the village of Hinlap but a large Chelt force is pushing from the north. One catch, 100+ enemy are hot on your heels and the air is getting spicy. Go get our boys!

Commendation: When faced with overwhelming Chelt forces during a CSAR mission, Lt Havercruft held his unit together and succesfully broke contact under very difficult circumstances; hugely outnumbered, with numerous casualties, on a reverse slope while under air attack and artillery fire, extracting Endgame Red with no casualties and rescue of both objective pilots. Operation: Op Upright Chaplain - Part 1: Deployed to recover the crew of a crashed A-6 Intruder around 120 094 - that had fallen prey to a flak trap on the hilltop at 110 100. Both pilots recovered, two aircraft lost to flak. Part 2: Deployed to recover the single pilot of an F-100D that had crashed near Kok at 086 029. Pilot recovered but unlucky hits knocked out three Jolly Green rescue helicopters, forcing Endgame Red to extract by armoured convoy via Lag Bou.

Commendation: People of high ranks should always have shiny medals to go with the combat storys where they took a serious amount of bullets. All bullets from Chelt weaponary and not an M60. - by Admin

Operation: Op Trivial Bandolier - Endgame Red was deployed to assault the town of Kok, which had been strengthened and reinforced such that it was once again that Cheltenamese Kok was a danger to all passers by, spreading a miasma of zider into the surrounding regions. The town itself was a feint to draw in attackers, but despite the pre-placed defences, Endgame Red managed to take all of Kok despite discomfort and some bloody situations. Realising that in truth the size of Kok was just a myth, the squad redeployed north to find the zider store. Despite some violations / desecrations of several religious sites, the storage dump was found and destroyed, although this provoked a forest fire which then obliterated the surrounding area including a big fiery Kok. Realising that they had found intel for the location of the district central distribution point, this was also assaulted and destroyed.

Operation: Op Chartreuse Flute - A sweep-and-clear patrol looking for Chelt radio equipment in the box from 0807 to 1010, remaining west of the river. Two radio units found in Chelt positions, and destroyed.

Medal: Bronze Star Medal

Reason: For courageously leading a charge into a Chelt fortification with only ammunition remaining for his sidearm, building momentum for the assault which allowed the rock to be successfully cleared during Operation Chartreuse Flute. (by Admin)

Commendation: A well led and executed mission, including excellent use of air assets and judicious use of medevacs. Would follow this LT anywhere. - by Admin

Commendation: With a number of casualties in EGR and out of ammunition for his M3 Grease Gun, Lt Havercruft charged into a Chelt fortification armed with his M1911 with no regard for his personal safety and, arguably, common sense. A courageous act which built momentum for the assault and led to the rock being cleared of Chelt. - by Admin

Operation: Op Medical Pigeon - 1) Duty as Embassy Marines in Saigon as the genuine articles were stuck TDY in Pleiku. The ambassador survived. 2) SAR north of Bru. The pilot was successfully recovered, despite the platoon getting surrounded by Chelt Cong forces.

Reason: For litter clearance in Saigon embassy compound during Operation Medical Pigeon. (by Admin)

Commendation: LT Havercruft, United States Marine Corps, distinguished himself with EXTREME valor as a Platoon Leader, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Medical Pigeon on 31 March 2024. With the Platoon busy having a day on the town, LT Havercruft selflessly stayed behind to protect the Ambassador to Cheltnam. Enemy Chelt insurgents infiltrated into the Ambassador's house, and planted explosives. LT Havercruft located the ticking time bomb, immediately picked it up and ran with it to keep the VIP safe. His selflessness, risking it all for the free world is the pinnacle of valor. The distinctive accomplishments of LT Havercruft reflect great credit upon himself, the United States Marine Corps, and the Department of Defense. *Note to Uncle Ted & Uncle Bobby K. I think Uncle John F. would be proud of me. Following the award of my medals and my tour of duty, I am looking forward to coming home and running for Senate. I expect this will all be arranged for me.* - by Admin

Commendation: While I am no expert in the defusal of UXO I feel it important to highlight to the command that 2LT Havercruft should in no way ever be sent near anything to do with or related to the identification/Defusal of explosives without further basic training on how to deal with them. I am bringing this to the attention of the command due to a recent incident during endgame reds tasking to protect the ambassador in Saigon. The initial action taken by 2LT Havercruft having found what he believed to be a small explosive device close to the Ambassador's house was to throw it away into some boot-high grass on the edge of the compound. From here his actions made the search and disposal of said suspect device harder, the boot-high grass requiring searching for the device. In his attempt to help pinpoint the device, he used a smoke grenade that due to prevailing wind conditions blanketed the search area with smoke making the search more difficult and dangerous for the unit attached Seabee. After a search of the area by the units attached Seabee RDX after the removal and clearing of the smoke grenade and its smoke no device could be found. I can only assume 2Lt Havercruft despite his insistence on finding an explosive device must have mistaken a stick or some other inert object as a bomb. - by Admin

Operation: Op Required Bullying - 1) SAR in Dak Pek region. F111 down east of Torpex’s Crater. Survival pod failed to separate, one pilot body recovered killed on impact. Second plot recovere alive but killed by intense enemy fire en route to pickup. 2) SAR in Dak Pek region. A4 down SW of Claymore’s Crossing. Pilot recovered from parachute point alive. Evac helicopter disabled by fire at the LZ but successfully autorotated 1km N of LZ. Second evac helicopter returned to base with all hands.

Commendation: Didn't abandon the yellow team when they all went down within a minute of each other. Organized a complete triage along with Howser to save us all quickly and under fire. - by Admin

Operation: Op Breaking Begonia - Deployed to a village deep in the jungle to provide defence against potential Chelt Cong saboteurs, Endgame Red found themselves mixed up in some sort of MACV-SOG operation in which vast numbers of insurgents were determined to overrun the small settlement and eliminate the special operations force there. Eventually, the SF group evacuated the village and Endgame Red were free to make their own way to an LZ to escape the encircling Cheltenamese forces.

Operation: Op Remembering Lasagna - Endgame Red provide heavy vehicle support to USMC troops defending a town and river crossing south of the Song Bin Tanh airbase. Under sustained assault and artillery bombardment, the local Chelt Cong having emptied their hidden arsenals of stolen heavy equipment in an attempt to deal a heavy blow to South Cheltnamese democracy in the region, the tank platoon and infantry were forced to pull back to reconsolidated, before assaulting back across the river after putting in airstrikes to retake the town. While losses were high, Chelt Cong insurgent activity in the region will be severely curtailed for some time to come.

Operation: Op Finding Dolly - Booked for a morale-raising USO performance, Dolly Parton arrived in the northern parts of South ChelteNam on an unfortunate weekend: that of the yearly national North Cheltenamese Dolly Parton Impersonation Contest - for the zider-drinking foe also loves Country and Western music. Landing unwittingly at the wrong village - on the North Cheltenamese side of the border - and beginning her performance to entirely the wrong audience, it was only a matter of time before the North Chelt realised they had in their grasp a hostage that would totally neuter America's will to continue the conflict. This national icon could not be lost, and so Endgame Red were infiltrated into North ChelteNam disguised as another impersonator group, to search out the five contest locations and retrieve the Real Dolly Parton. The mission was successful, although according to the new official history of the ChelteNam war, the conflict intensified once the North Chelt were able to allege that the USA attempted to use several groups of Dolly Parton impersonators to assassinate Ho Cheese Min.

Commendation: A confusing night of Dollies, well held together by the LT. - by Admin

Commendation: I commented the LT's choice of a distinctive disguise for this operation, as it made him much easier to find and get to a medic every time he happened to fall over while coincidentally riddled with bullets - by Admin

Commendation: Using his own initiative to maintain ERGs cover identities and masterfully blending in with local populace. The LT was able to convince several checkpoints, that were at high alert, of the veracity of WRGs cover identities and allowed the force to pass through multiple enemy defensive lines. - by Admin

Commendation: During the operation enemy forces conspired to sew confusion within our ranks and cause the platoon to become separated on multiple occasions. The lieutenant rose to the occasion and the challenge, going above and beyond to ensure that none under his charge were lost by carrying out regular and rigorous checks. Not a single friendly combatant was lost without record or went AWOL. - by Admin

Commendation: Due to pressing, vital and clearly mission critical prior engagements 2Lt Havercruft was forced to rendezvous with Endgame Red en route to the objective. Directly found and rescued one of the downed aircrew whilst underfire and maneuvered EGR between pockets of hostile enemies allowing air assets to engage effectively. Operation: Op Substance Melon - In which we have a two day pass in Hue, and so does the chelt uprising. Stealth is optional. We had a gunfight in a market. And a hospital. And a factory. And a suburb. And a consulate. It was a jolly wizard time and we were able to recover the crucial intel command had secreted in a variety of locations around the city like veritable ghosts, flirting from one shadow to another. It is doubtful that the Chelt even knew were were there.

Proving the quality of the American Forces the squad is sent deep into Hanoi to steal items from hostile held buildings to present to him. Tonight: some Milk Tray, and a bunch of flowers!

Reason: AWARDED Mention in Dispatches for heroically leading his unit directly through heavy enemy artillery barrages in order to demoralise the attacking Cheltenamese, rather than staying put in the well-dug-in defensive line while holding flanking positions on the western side of the Plain of Jars as part of Operation Astrologer Silence. Commendation: During the defence of a vital, mission critical hill and or ridgeline of indeterminate location, while the squad was suppressed by enemy armour and dealing with casualties the LT led a small fire team to flank the main position, drawing the enemy away from friendly triage station and blunting a gathering attack before it could launch. The LT's actions were so demoralising to the enemy that they were forced to respond with heavy artillery, which the LT then sheparded his charges through with great alacrity. The action resulted in the neutralisation of multiple enemy squads at the cost of only minor injuries and ammunition for marine forces. - by Admin

Commendation: Seeing no alternative, the Lt drove a truck packed with explosives into an area being retaken by the enemy. Through enemy fire the truck exploded thereby destroying the radio jammer that was blocking Comms and the extraction of the wounded from the primary objective. - by Admin

Commendation: The hair-brained idea to pack a small civilian vehicle full of explosives and drive it to the enemy jammer position worked with no casualties.
