Operation: Op Ego Afterthought - Evaluated as the 14th (out of 18) most effective CSAR unit on the roster, and not curently enjoying the favour of either the USMC or USAF, Endgame Red was deployed by helicopter to Firebase A Luoi in the A Shau valley. Tasked to overwatch the main North-South MSR and protect passing traffic, they disrupted Chelt operations in the area through two nights and one day, allowing the safe passage of five US convoys for the loss of one vehicle.
Commendation: i like this guy, he reminds me of Marvin if a bit more... Mountiny, got a bit of the police vibe to him thats a little worrying, nonethe less he was a good buddy and did some good work with searchlights, - by Admin

Stage Two: Use information gathered from the political officer to find and secure enemy supply dumps north east of Hue.

Operation: Op Messy Relationship - Patrol from Camp Sarge to Radio Relay Vandergraft.
Medal: Gallantry Cross with Bronze Star
Reason: AWARDED Gallantry Cross with Bronze Star (GCBSM) for bravery in recovering critically injured Endgame Red personnel from the wire in the defence of Radio Relay Vandergraf during Operation Messy Relationship. (by Admin)
Commendation: I would like to highlight brave and courageous actions taken by Ha Si Nhat Morris (referred to as Morris from here on)to retrieve a injured and unconscious Pvt torrent.Pvt torret was rendered unconscious in an exposed position on the edge of the wire at radio relay vandergraft during a chelt assault from the south. Morris under heavy fire from the enemy force attacking from the south and under cover of smoke and small arms fire from other members of endgame red pushed forward to the exposed position to retrieve Torrent and pull him back so aid could be rendered to him by attached corpsman. - by Admin

Operation: Op Oblong Cartoon - Sar Mission 1: rescue a pilot from a crash site NW of Lang Voi while clearing a hostile village and avoiding massive Chelt flak sites. Sar Mission 2: 2 seater down in the village of Hinlap but a large Chelt force is pushing from the north. One catch, 100+ enemy are hot on your heels and the air is getting spicy. Go get our boys!
Medal: Gallantry Cross with Gold Star
Reason: For heroism in rescuing a downed pilot by swimming through infested waters and climbing an exposed rock under suppressive fire to recover the pilot and return them to the bank during Operation Oblong Cartoon. (by Admin)
Commendation: Whilst under increasingly heavy direct fire and with an enemy armed san-pan in the river between him and the shore Morris swam to an exposed rock, recovered a downed pilot after their crew mate had already been extracted, then ensured the pilots safety as they escorted them to land. Through it all Morris was under fire from enemy overlooking the extraction point, across the river and from a rapidly closing squad making for the bank he was trying to get to with the second pilot. - by Admin

Operation: Op Upright Chaplain - Part 1: Deployed to recover the crew of a crashed A-6 Intruder around 120 094 - that had fallen prey to a flak trap on the hilltop at 110 100. Both pilots recovered, two aircraft lost to flak. Part 2: Deployed to recover the single pilot of an F-100D that had crashed near Kok at 086 029. Pilot recovered but unlucky hits knocked out three Jolly Green rescue helicopters, forcing Endgame Red to extract by armoured convoy via Lag Bou.

Reason: For recovery of an unconscious Sgt Sauceman across an overwatched and suppressed paddy field and supporting medics with casevac during Operation Upright Chaplain. (by Admin)

Commendation: Whilst ERG was pinned down and suffering casualties, Morris took the initiative and proceeded to the downed pilot, recovered them and brought them back to the main squad the enemy lines and with limited ammunition and support. By doing so Morris allowed for ERG to extract having completed their mission and without having to push further into enemy controlled areas, with EI rapidly closing in on their position. Morris then proceeded to assist in the retrieval of Sgt Sauceman after the Sgt became a casualty during a push across a paddy field as ERG fought to meet up with ground transport. When the Sgt was missed Morris participated in the search, covered the medic as they treated Sauceman and escorted the medic back as the Sgt was to injured to be brought up in the field and enemy infantry were continuing to push. Without Morris it is likely several service personnel would not have been extracted alive. - by Admin

Operation: Op Trivial Bandolier - Endgame Red was deployed to assault the town of Kok, which had been strengthened and reinforced such that it was once again that Cheltenamese Kok was a danger to all passers by, spreading a miasma of zider into the surrounding regions. The town itself was a feint to draw in attackers, but despite the pre-placed defences, Endgame Red managed to take all of Kok despite discomfort and some bloody situations. Realising that in truth the size of Kok was just a myth, the squad redeployed north to find the zider store. Despite some violations / desecrations of several religious sites, the storage dump was found and destroyed, although this provoked a forest fire which then obliterated the surrounding area including a big fiery Kok. Realising that they had found intel for the location of the district central distribution point, this was also assaulted and destroyed.

Operation: Op Tofu Wafer - Insert by air at grid 031055, where three LZs had been cleared by COMMANDO VAULT drops, defend the area against Chelt assaults and construct a firebase. It'll be fine.

Operation: Op Medical Pigeon - 1) Duty as Embassy Marines in Saigon as the genuine articles were stuck TDY in Pleiku. The ambassador survived. 2) SAR north of Bru. The pilot was successfully recovered, despite the platoon getting surrounded by Chelt Cong forces.

Operation: Op Sensible Monkey - Escort a truck of supplies from Dak Pek base to Outpost Planck along the primary, but heavily ambush prone, road route.
Commendation: Extracting information from local intelligence sources allowing for a stolen vehicle to be located and liberated from hostile forces. Morris further apprehended an enemy agent, unfortunately this asset did not survive to be debriefed at a friendly base through no fault of Morris. - by Admin

Reason: For participation in a determined assault against a Chelt Cong rocket artillery position against a significantly numerically superior force during Operation Swinging Sweetshop. (by Admin)
Commendation: I would like to bring attention to the courageous and heroic attack made by Yellow team at the time consisting of Cảnh sát viên Morris, Pvt Rain, and myself LCpl Overkill during an assault on a chelt rocket artillery position. Endgame Red having worked out the likely position of the artillery had moved to the northern side of the valley and was pushing westward. rockets again began to fall on endgame reds position, yellow as the lead element of the platoon advanced at speed in the direction of the position intending to close the gap and prevent further use of the artillery in engaging us. Having done this yellow team found themselves in a short but intense and close-range firefight with a sizeable Chelt force that easily outnumbered the team at least 3 to 1. Despite this yellow team engaged with and destroyed the attacking chelt element. When medical aid arrived to take over providing aid to Pvt Rain who had been rendered unconscious in the fighting and having mopped up a few Chelt stragglers Morris and I pushed on with the attack on the main encampment closing to the left edge of the camp and engaging additional Chelt elements with small arms and grenades, as other elements of endgame red including a now conscious pv rain who is responsible for destroying an armed truck engaging the platoon also arrived on our right flank and we were able to clear the camp. - by Admin

Operation: Op Required Bullying - 1) SAR in Dak Pek region. F111 down east of Torpex’s Crater. Survival pod failed to separate, one pilot body recovered killed on impact. Second plot recovere alive but killed by intense enemy fire en route to pickup. 2) SAR in Dak Pek region. A4 down SW of Claymore’s Crossing. Pilot recovered from parachute point alive. Evac helicopter disabled by fire at the LZ but successfully autorotated 1km N of LZ. Second evac helicopter returned to base with all hands.

Commendation: During search and destroy mission over the Bra region Jauvert(pilot) and Morris (gunner) engaged and destroyed an enemy Helo speaking to disrupt operations and down other helos within ERG's flight. Show exemplary flying and accurate gunnery the pair engaged and damaged the help, then as it sought to disengage from the combat the pair destroyed the enemy aircraft allowing for the successful completion of the operation and the destruction of enemy supplies and armour maneuvering in the Bra region known as the Underboob. - by Admin

Operation: Op Alienated Soda - After a Budweiser-filled night of drinking, the group is without transportation and kit in the jungle. Using their wits, and what they can pilfer from the enemy, they must make their way back to base.

Reason: For detecting and suppressing an enemy overwatch position on the unit line of advance, preventing an ambush that had the potential to inflict significant casualties during Operation Alienated Soda. (by Admin)
Commendation: Using local contacts, was able to secure needed intel which allowed ERG to maneuver around several enemy concentrations, as well as secured needed supplies from local populace that allowed ERG to maintain operational utility. Morris also engaged and enemy strongpoint that was overlooking the ERG route of advance, preventing an ambush that had potential to wipe out the unit. - by Admin

Operation: Op Breaking Begonia - Deployed to a village deep in the jungle to provide defence against potential Chelt Cong saboteurs, Endgame Red found themselves mixed up in some sort of MACV-SOG operation in which vast numbers of insurgents were determined to overrun the small settlement and eliminate the special operations force there. Eventually, the SF group evacuated the village and Endgame Red were free to make their own way to an LZ to escape the encircling Cheltenamese forces.

Reason: For recovery of an unconscious Sgt Sauceman from an area under active napalm strikes during operation Breaking Begonia. (by Admin)
Commendation: Morris was responsible for patrolling the perimeter, pushing out every time it was required, and singlehandedly took down a whole bunch of Chelt. What a guy. And also carried me all the way back from the river to the village, just in time to have the village napalmed around us. 3/5 stars on TripAdvisor. - by Admin

Finally cornering their target in a strongly defended village, the HVT was captured and successfully extracted back to base. Reports that a person was seen falling from a USMC helicopter earlier in the mission are being strongly denied by all parties on the operation.

Operation: Op Remembering Lasagna - Endgame Red provide heavy vehicle support to USMC troops defending a town and river crossing south of the Song Bin Tanh airbase. Under sustained assault and artillery bombardment, the local Chelt Cong having emptied their hidden arsenals of stolen heavy equipment in an attempt to deal a heavy blow to South Cheltnamese democracy in the region, the tank platoon and infantry were forced to pull back to reconsolidated, before assaulting back across the river after putting in airstrikes to retake the town. While losses were high, Chelt Cong insurgent activity in the region will be severely curtailed for some time to come.
Medal: Gallantry Cross with Palm Leaf
Reason: For demonstrating exceptional valour, skill and situational awareness in co-ordinating with a platoon M48A3 during combat manoeuvring, on numerous occasions repelling infantry with anti tank weapons who were attempting to close assault the vehicle at significant risk to his own life, allowing the M48 to effectively engage and destroy priority targets preserving significant lives and combat power of the unit during Operation Remembering Lasagna. Commendation: During the intense battle to hold the village, Morris dismounted from his vehicle after it was disabled and engaged the enemy at close range on foot. Morris worked closely with the platoon's M48A3 as they moved through the village, on numerous occasions repelling infantry with anti tank weapons who were attempting to close assault the vehicle, allowing the M48 to effectively engage and destroy priority targets. Morris demonstrated exceptional valor, skill and situational awareness, and was able to coordinate with the vehicle's combat manoeuvring without using audio communication, greatly improving the tactical load on the vehicle crew. - by Admin

Operation: Op Splitting Chopsticks - Endgame Red were dispatched on a standard helicopter airmobile assault with gunship cover to seek and destroy a Chelt Cong resupply and consolidation encampment believed to be in a jungle village in the vicinity of Nui Can Tho. Heavy bombs were deployed from C113s to prepare an LZ so as to ensure the element of surprise. Endgame Red successfully destroyed the encampment despite some stiff resistance, but a resupply aircraft was shot down during the operation. Endgame Red successfully recovered the pilot alive from the crash site, although the copilot and crew chief were killed during the crash landing. The unit fought their way to another LZ after their first extraction chopper was downed due to a combination of enemy fire and pilot error. The chopper pilot was also retrieved and both pilots were successfully recovered back to SBT Airbase.
