Operation: Op Constant Timber - Southern patrol route through the AO, with several close calls with a lot of fiery doom and running around like morons trying to find any surviving supplies.

Operation: Op Euphoric Diabetes - Enemy spotters suspected at three locations. Endgame Red sent in to carry out foot patrols to find them and give them the bad news.

Commendation: Provided key fire support and obscuring smoke during several assaults. Avalanche was responsible for destroying several enemy strong points at a distance which threatened the squads security and chance to stay on mission. - by Admin

Operation: Op Vanity Snob - SAR Ops. Scramble 1: A4 pilot crashed in a mountain valley north of Hue, near medium mobile AAA battery on plateau, pilot ejected. Pilot recovered alive by Endgame Red but killed by Chelt Cong recoilless fire near escape LZ. Scramble 2: Two ejected pilots linked up during E&E and took shelter in a shop in Attapeu before it was occupied by a CC Main Force with light armour and vehicle support. Both pilots recovered successfully, Covey-1 shot down but recovered from the site successfully.

Reason: AWARDED Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V (NMCCM-V) for skill in engaging a battle tank with light ordnance to suppress its fire and protect other members of his squad during the battle of Attapeu, Operation Vanity Snob. (by Admin)

Commendation: Excellent accuracy during the second deployment, engaging the enemy within moments from landing and suppressing defensive positions. Furthermore, dogged determination in the face of enemy armor, repeatedly striking an enemy T34 on approach to the rest of the squad. - by Admin

Operation: Op Lumbering Sorghum - The area north of San Bay Ban has been kept under observation, and large numbers of North Chelt forces have been seen moving around the area. Intel believes there are hostile bases there and so Endgame Red is set to find and destroy them.

Operation: Op Substance Melon - In which we have a two day pass in Hue, and so does the chelt uprising. Stealth is optional. We had a gunfight in a market. And a hospital. And a factory. And a suburb. And a consulate. It was a jolly wizard time and we were able to recover the crucial intel command had secreted in a variety of locations around the city like veritable ghosts, flirting from one shadow to another. It is doubtful that the Chelt even knew were were there.

Medal: Mentioned in Despatches

Reason: AWARDED Mention in Dispatches (MID) for exercising great independence of thought and initiative when individually close assaulting a building to eliminate enfilading fire the platoon would receive as they massed and assaulted a completely different building, thus preventing casualties in the chaotic situation of the Hue Uprising during Operation Substance Melon. Commendation: Assaulting and clearing a building singlehandedly as he was assaulting a different building to the rest of the squad. In doing so he limited to enfilading fire the squad actually would have sustained had he not done so. Avalanche then maintained perimeter around the building his squad mates were not at and then flanked the enemy assaulting where his squadmates were in his attempts to return to where they were defending. - by Admin

Operation: Op Astrologer Silence - Push the right flank of the plain of jars, taking the hills which overlook the route of advance. Following this, escort friendly armor and sweep West to secure a vital line of communication. Hold salient against enemy assault from the North, East, and South in order to enable follow on forces to secure additional positions.

Medal: Bronze Star Medal

Reason: AWARDED Bronze Star Medal with Combat V (BSM) for expert marksmanship with the grenade launcher, risking his life to fire upon and destroy multiple enemy vehicles with a single grenade round and preventing their accompanying armoured unit from breaking through the platoon's defensive position at a critical road junction during heavy combat to secure the Plain of Jars during Operation Astrologer Silence. Commendation: During the defense of a critical road junction, PFC Avalanche showed the utmost skill with his grenade launcher to take out multiple hostile vehicles that were appraoching and attempting to break through the squad's positions. The hostile convoy, consistitng of two jeeps and a tank, was eliminated before it reached Endgame Red's entrenched positions, and PFC Avalanche played a vital, and pivotal role in stopping them. - by Admin

Commendation: PFC Avalanche, United States Marine Corps, distinguished himself with conspicuous gallantry as Grenadier, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Astrologer Silence on 11 August 2024. With enemy armor assaulting the critical road junction, PFC Avalanche expertly fired a single grenade and destroyed the vehicles without any adjusting shots. His mastery of his assigned weapon system allowed Endgame Red to secure the road junction which served as the lynchpin in the continued offensive. The distinctive accomplishments of PFC Avalanche reflect great credit upon himself, the United States Marine Corps, and the Department of Defense. - by Admin

Operation: Op Weak Fellow - Operation to locate and destroy enemy valley base in mountains NW of Ninh Tho

Medal: Bronze Star Medal (1 Gold Star)

Reason: AWARDED Star to his Bronze Star Medal with Combat V (BSM) for deliberately exposing himself to sustained enemy fire in order to lay down a blocking wall of HE grenades when the platoon position was about to be overrun, receiving multiple serious wounds in doing so but preventing the enemy envelopment and allowing the platoon to recover wounded and push through the counterattack in the intense battle to destroy an enemy valley base NW of Ninh Tho during Operation Weak Fellow. Commendation: As EI enveloped EGR, Avalanche exposed themselves to enemy fire to get into a position to place a blocking wall of HE grenades to stop them completing their envelopment and allowing EGR to recover their wounded and push through the enemy counter attack. - by Admin

Reason: AWARDED Mention in Dispatches (MID) for the destruction of a lethal enemy AAA vehicle which was applying heavy suppression to the platoon, allowing the unit to maintain Operational tempo and avoid being pinned and overrun during manoeuvres to destroy enemy supply caches during Operation Painted Eardrum. Commendation: I don't know what the big and angry vehicle was near LZ Panther, but Avalanche killed it with his 40mm and everyone's lives got immeasurably better. - by Admin

Commendation: Upon advancing on an enemy cache ERG's route was partially overwatched by an enemy AAA vehicle. Even though it was at extreme range and the vehicle was suppressing the area, Avalanche moved to an alternate position and neutralised the vehicle. In doing so, ERG was able to more easily advance in their objective and the Chelt QRF was denied their main vehicle and support firepower. - by Admin

Operation: Op Pink Bush - Hold the village of Bo Lieu on the river, with small detours to rescue the ambulance and save allies.
