Reason: For actions in the assault on Hill 220, PKL, charging an armed SA-2 launcher to try to recover a downed squadmate and then single-handedly charging, capturing, and using an enemy AA gun to drive off enemy aircraft attempting to deliver parachute reinforcements to the AO, despite receiving multiple wounds during his assault during Operation Waiting Shoreline. Commendation:
I would like to commend Pvt Treadwell for his courageous action during the assault on the SA2 site. having captured the hilltop he captured and used a quad AA gun to engage the enemy aircraft that were attempting to deliver reinforcements to push us off the hilltop, their action prevented a large amount of the enemy reinforcements from being able to take part in there counter push. - by Admin
Commendation:
Pvt Treadwell proved he has the spirit of a true marine, when, in defiance of his own safety, he charged an armed SA-2 launcher to try and recover a downed squadmate. Such bravery in the face of overwhelming odds shows a true warrior spirit. - by Admin

Pvt Treadwell, United States Marine Corps, distinguished himself with conspicuous gallantry as a Rifleman, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Bridgerton Rising on 7 June 2024. During a hasty assault on an enemy encampment, the Platoon got split by enemy artillery. Despite losing his base of fire, Pvt Treadwell took the fight to the enemy and close assaulted the enemy positions. His actions, at great danger to himself, ensured the elimination of enemy forces and artillery spotters. This allowed 1st Platoon to regroup and ultimately reach the mission objective in one piece. Reason: For aggressively assaulting enemy formations to encourage them to split fire and allow the platoon to perform successful tactical manoeuvring and defeat the enemy forces in detail during Operation Speeding Sickness. (by Admin)
Commendation:
Aggression in assaults on enemy formations led to enemy splitting fire. This allowed tactical maneuvering by ERG with both sections recieving less fire and thus casualties than might have occured. Treadwell over ran several enemy strongpoints quickly, leading to enemy being engaged on more equal terms. - by Admin
