Operation: Op Splitting Chopsticks - Endgame Red were dispatched on a standard helicopter airmobile assault with gunship cover to seek and destroy a Chelt Cong resupply and consolidation encampment believed to be in a jungle village in the vicinity of Nui Can Tho. Heavy bombs were deployed from C113s to prepare an LZ so as to ensure the element of surprise. Endgame Red successfully destroyed the encampment despite some stiff resistance, but a resupply aircraft was shot down during the operation. Endgame Red successfully recovered the pilot alive from the crash site, although the copilot and crew chief were killed during the crash landing. The unit fought their way to another LZ after their first extraction chopper was downed due to a combination of enemy fire and pilot error. The chopper pilot was also retrieved and both pilots were successfully recovered back to SBT Airbase.

Medal: Mentioned in Despatches

Reason: For expert and essential destruction of enemy flame tanks during enemy counterattacks on Hill 220, PKL, without which the unit would certainly have suffered many casualties on Operation Waiting Shoreline. (by Admin)

Commendation: Absolutely invaluable in taking out SA-2s and hostile flame tanks. Without Pvt Tubular the SAM site would not have been destroyed and the squad would have been burnt to death by the Chelt. His actions were intrinsic to the success of the mission, and without him the outcome would ahve been very different. - by Admin

Operation: Op Finding Dolly - Booked for a morale-raising USO performance, Dolly Parton arrived in the northern parts of South ChelteNam on an unfortunate weekend: that of the yearly national North Cheltenamese Dolly Parton Impersonation Contest - for the zider-drinking foe also loves Country and Western music. Landing unwittingly at the wrong village - on the North Cheltenamese side of the border - and beginning her performance to entirely the wrong audience, it was only a matter of time before the North Chelt realised they had in their grasp a hostage that would totally neuter America's will to continue the conflict. This national icon could not be lost, and so Endgame Red were infiltrated into North ChelteNam disguised as another impersonator group, to search out the five contest locations and retrieve the Real Dolly Parton. The mission was successful, although according to the new official history of the ChelteNam war, the conflict intensified once the North Chelt were able to allege that the USA attempted to use several groups of Dolly Parton impersonators to assassinate Ho Cheese Min.

Reason: For successfully convincing a North Cheltnamese guard force of the authenticity of the unit's disguises through the quality of his music on the harmonica, ensuring that the unit could press deeper into enemy territory without combat during Operation Finding Dolly. (by Admin)

Commendation: Pvt Tubular, United States Marine Corps, distinguished himself with conspicuous gallantry as a Rifleman, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Finding Dolly on 2 June 2024. While attempting to sneak through enemy lines, 1st Platoon was stopped and challenged by a North Cheltnamese guard. Demanding that 1st Platoon prove there cover as a band was authentic, friendly forces were at great risk of discovery and mission failure. Pvt Tubular swiftly produced a harmonica, and proceeded to convince the guard of his authenticity through the quality of his music. This enabled 1st Platoon to penetrate enemy lines, and ultimately locate and rescue Dolly Parton. The distinctive accomplishments of Pvt Tubular reflect great credit upon himself, the United States Marine Corps Band, the United States Marine Corps, and the Department of Defense. - by Admin

Reason: For returning to consciousness after being placed gravely wounded in a medical vehicle, when the vehicle came under attack and being further wounded, but emerging from safety to engage and eliminate enemy sappers who had slipped past the perimeter and would otherwise have destroyed the essential vehicles during Operation Bridgerton Rising. Reason: For exposing himself to enemy fire in order to complete engineering preparations and successfully completing the work despite heavy suppression during Operation Bridgerton Rising. (by Admin)

Commendation: Pvt Tubular, United States Marine Corps, distinguished himself with conspicuous gallantry as a Rifleman, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Bridgerton Rising on 7 June 2024. After witnessing 5 fellow marines wounded attempting to complete bridging preparations, Pvt Tubular bravely exposed himself to withering enemy fire in order to complete the engineering work. Despite being constantly suppressed by enemy fire, he was able to complete the bridge construction, enabling 1st Platoon to carry on the assigned mission. The distinctive accomplishments of Pvt Tubular reflect great credit upon himself, the United States Marine Corps, and the Department of Defense. - by Admin

Commendation: Private Tubular was gravely wounded during the reconsolidation phase of a bridging operation and had been placed on the hull of the Platoon's engineering vehicle to receive medical treatment. During this treatment the vehicles came under fire and Tubular was further wounded. While still injured, he returned to consciousness and engaged enemy sappers who had slipped past the the perimeter and attacked the vehicles otherwise unhindered. - by Admin

Operation: Op Speeding Sickness - 2 x SAR in the vicinity of OP Pyle. 1 x F-100 Super Soaker, pilot recovered. 1 x something with two seats (2 A-1 Skyraiders, you heathens - Scatter), both pilots (even Jeremy) recovered.

Medal: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation (2 Gold Stars)

Reason: For situational awareness and rapid response to a medic being incapacitated, hauling them from difficult overwatched terrain in a paddy field and applying stabilisation, allowing the medic to be returned to action, then suffering severe wounds from enemy artillery while attempting to assist with further wounded during Operation Speeding Sickness. Commendation: Commendation for an absolute stunning peformance immertating a Chelt crawling in reeds. - by Admin

Commendation: Prompt notice of medic being hit resulted in said medic being quickly hauled out of paddy field despite difficult terrain and quick stabilisation resulted in medic being eventually returned to action despite Tubular going on to suffer severe wounds from artillery while attempting to assist with the many wounded. - by Admin

With the entire Platoon suppressed by a flame tank, Pvt Tubular bravely exposed himself to withering enemy fire in order to destroy the enemy vehicle. This enabled 1st Platoon to regroup and rescue sPACE-O, a national treasure. Operation: Op Twin Great-grandfather - Attack the Chelt base in the village of Rung Cung and rescue the astronauts from the tunnels under the village

Medal: Silver Star Medal

Reason: For actions in the rescue of two US astronauts, where with no ammunition for his primary weapon remaining, nor for a revolver loaned to him, he charged an attacking wave of Chelt with his entrenching tool, killing at least two and slowing the assault long enough for his own squadmates to catch up and support him, preventing the enemy from eliminating the medic and all injured marines at the casualty collection point during Operation Twin Great-Grandfather. Commendation: Aggression and tactical acuity in assaulting the bunker complex, as well as taking out the tank at the end of the mission, saving the advance towards the exfil point. - by Admin

Commendation: When all NCOs in the squad has been rendered unconscious, Tubular provided clear direction to his fellows, safely extracting the team. During the mission, Tubular used his Super Bazooka to great effect; destroying a tank at close range, and marking a hilltop with WP allowing a cluster bomb attack by A-37 Super Tweeets. During the extraction of two American heroes, with no ammunition for his primary weapon remaining, nor for the revolver I had loaned him, he charged an attacking wave of Chelt with his entrenching tool, killing at least two before his squadmates caught up to support him. - by Admin

Operation: Op Pinching Temp - Rescue Banjo Charlie, Archprelate of the Gurning Buddists, from the religious site near Ket Thuc where PAVN troops have seized control in order to institute religious repression of the faith. He is of great value to the cause of freedom if successfully recovered to the US to form an element of the evergrowing North Cheltenam dissident movement.

Operation: Op Handmade Pretzel - To the west of Pleiku Airfield is Patrol Base Syncopated Weasel. Intel reports there are 6 rock bases in use by the Chelt in it's vicinity. Some one has to go clear them, and that someone is Endgame Red.

Commendation: During the assault of one of the 'loaded with fuck-o's rocks', Tubular proceeded to fill the entire rock with smoke of the spicy variety. The didn't like that. Successfully made the enemy flee the rock right into the rest of the squad. - by Admin

Medal: Bronze Star Medal

Reason: AWARDED Bronze Star Medal (BSM) for actions in exposing himself to withering enemy fire from a suppressing PT-76 that had pinned down the entire platoon in order to take an AT shot that successfully destroying the attacking armoured vehicle, taking several wounds but allowing the platoon to extract safely during SAR activity as part of Operation Old Dingo. Commendation: Pvt Tubular, United States Marine Corps, distinguished himself with conspicuous gallantry as a Rifleman, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Old Dingo on 20 July 2024. With the entire Platoon suppressed by a PT-76, Pvt Tubular bravely exposed himself to withering enemy fire in order to destroy the enemy vehicle. This enabled 1st Platoon to bring in a CH-53 and extract safely. Operation: Op Danger Knees - Act as spearpoint for the marines advance from Bai Bien Dep into the mainland of CheltNam towards Kro Sang, and clear the road to enable the tanks to move Onward!

Commendation: When the yellow squad was doing their own thing, PFC Tubular kept his cool, listened to instructions, and was able to quickly and effectively down the tank that was shelling us from the second objective. - by Admin

Reason: AWARDED Star to his Bronze Star Medal (BSM) for bravery and dedication to duty as the platoon's only heavy anti tank weaponeer during the assault on Hill 119, frequently manoeuvring to flank enemy forces to knock out several armoured vehicles despite this exposing him to fire from the remainder of the enemy defensive line during Operation Gravy Den. Operation: Op Substance Melon - In which we have a two day pass in Hue, and so does the chelt uprising. Stealth is optional. We had a gunfight in a market. And a hospital. And a factory. And a suburb. And a consulate. It was a jolly wizard time and we were able to recover the crucial intel command had secreted in a variety of locations around the city like veritable ghosts, flirting from one shadow to another. It is doubtful that the Chelt even knew were were there.

Medal: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation (3 Gold Stars)

Reason: AWARDED Star to his Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V (NMCCM-V) for situational awareness in noticing a fallen member of the platoon required recovery and medical attention, returning to collect him and return him to the casualty point during Operation Substance Melon. Commendation: The platoon had moved away from an engagement and Tubular's situational awareness meant he checked for any lost team mates. He realized that slump was down and went back for him, staying to provide medical assistance and save slump while under direct, accurate sniper fire, clearly saving his life. - by Admin

Operation: Op Taking Seep - Endgame Red are tasked with helping convince a high ranking North Chelt to turncoat and pass information to the forces of freedom. To do this he needs to be reassured that should things go poorly he can be extracted safely. Proving the quality of the American Forces the squad is sent deep into Hanoi to steal items from hostile held buildings to present to him. Tonight: some Milk Tray, and a bunch of flowers!

Commendation: Was a total pro keeping everyone up when we were in the base - brought Disco up without medic help and carried at least 3 different people to the medical tent. Also disabled both of the tanks. - by Admin

Reason: AWARDED Mentioned in Dispatches (MID) for effective fireteam leadership and initiative during search operations in an extremely occluded swamp environment, frequently acting to support other fireteams and allow the platoon as a whole to move forward in the search for Bens during Operation Knowing Bronco. Operation: Op Hydrant Delight - Drive the mortars around, set them up, perform the fire missions, and get out. What could go wrong?

Medal: Navy and Marine Corps Medal (2 Gold Stars)

Reason: AWARDED Star to his Navy and Marine Corps Medal (NMCM) for adaptability and skill in performing multiple roles outside his MOS during artillery support activities, including but not limited to convoy driver, logistics and munitions coordinator, medical orderly and mortar gunner during Operation Hydrant Delight. Commendation: PFC Tubular stepped up and volunteered to drive for this operation, even turning down offers to rotate to easier duties during periods of motion. His spacing to other vehicles in the convoy was exemplory, while his quick thinking and iniative in moving his jeep off the road when the squad made contact no doubt saved his squad on multiple occasions. No one this, but PFC Tubular kept perfect track of what supplies were where thoughout the mission, covered the withdrawl of wounded squadmates to the exfil helicopter, and even took a turn on the mortars leading to several successful fire mission to support other troops in the AO. He is a true credit to the Corp. - by Admin
