Operation Summary

Sweep and clear the area north of Patrol Base JuuJuu, looking to find and destroy three Chelt bases identified by SIGINT as in the area. The platoon cleared two strongpoints and found a stash of SA-2 surface to air missiles, which may have been later recovered by US forces.

ARES 1-9, single-ship A-6 Intruder, with 9 x Mk82 Snakeye and 2 x Mk83. Made two excellent runs with snake, and had to be aborted shortly before dropping Mk83s dangerously near the platoon.
