Operation Strict Minority

Tenacious pursuit of enemy intel into heavily boobytrapped positions, leading to the recovery of anti-armour assets that allowed the successful defence of allied and US positions against a concerted armoured push by enemy forces. Greensquare also led with courage and conviction neutralising several roving enemy patrols and the eventual discovery of an emplaced FOB overlooking friendly positions.

Held an enemy counterattack from overrun of EGR as they were medicing after successful recovery of intel. Rattlecan blunted the enemy push singlehanded, then held position until relieved by EGR responding QRF. Without their actions the patrol would have been pushed into a heavily boobytrapped area and been overrun.

Found a heavily concealed enemy FOB, one of the primary objectives of the initial patrol in an aggressive push on an enemy held ridge line. Further investigation found radio equipment and supplies that would have allowed NVA forces to call down accurate and sustained fire on allied and friendly positions in the valley it overlooked making the positions untenable.
