Superb piloting allowed EGR to insert where ordered and extract even under sustained fire. Handlebar performed medivac in unfamiliar airframe saving the lives of several heavily wounded Marines. He also brought suppressive fire to bear on a Chelt counter attack allowing EGR to maintain a defensive perimeter with limited numbers until reinforced.
