Without thought for his own personal safety, PFC Misstep seized the initiative and led a storming assault up the strongly held mountain staircase of the secondary landing area, clearing several fixed positions which had been pouring fire down upon the platoon as it disembarked from landing craft, before falling unconscious from wounds taken in the effort.
