Slump led his section into the tunnels and maintained a perimeter allowing EGR to triage and get up the casualties sustain in the river crossing to the cave entrance. Slump then, with a scratch force of both fire teams was instrumental on allowing EGR to move forward and gain some momentum in the tunnel fight.

Under fire and in limited cover Clapman provided triage and security to multiple wounded as EGR forces their way into the tunnel complex. Clapman then in a short but intense exchange of fire killed an enemy sniper that had been pinning down and blunting the EGR push on the enemy fortifications, sustaining grievous wounds in the process. With the sniper threat eliminated, EGR were able to manoeuvre and successfully take the enemy positions.

Disco, with her team, held the position to infiltrate the enemy tunnel network against sustained plunging fire and mounting casualties. Had she not done so, EGR would have had to withdraw and then re-assault the entrance which may well have been reinforced or rendered inaccessible through demolition. Without this display of courage and leadership the mission would have depended on a frontal assault against entrenched enemy.
