Commendations

I would like to mention the excellent work undertaken by Benzo as the squad's sole trained medic. numerous times the squad was in a position with multiple critical casualties, despite this Benzo worked and directed others to provide aid to the injured preventing any loss among their patients in situations that easily could have seen many of them killed

Rescuing casualties under fire from one hill to another, staying calm under pressure and NEVER. LEAVING. HER. BUDDY. BEHIND.

Hauled a downed marine off one hillside and up to another for treatment while under constant enemy small arms, grenade and recoiless fire.

Disco is settling into EGR very well. An excellent buddy, and hauled at least one casualty a long distance while under enfilading fire.

I would like to bring attention to Captain Scatter's excellent work in calling in numerous fire missions. all of the fire missions involved 16-inch guns with most at ranges well within danger close radius, despite this, only one round landed close to the squad in a position that could have caused casualties. Captin scatter's use of the fire support was vital in allowing the squad to deal with many of the threats we encountered on the mission.

Sauceman kept her squad moving, maintaining momentum and retaining the initiative in an operation where that was critical. Her excellent situational awareness and handling of the squad was absolutely instrumental to mission success. It is notable that the only casualty taken had disobeyed her orders and wandered into an artillery beaten zone.

Took down two tanks, amongst other things.

Pvt Fung acted as eyes and ears of the squad for the whole mission, calling in bad guys and lighting them up. F in the chat.
Written by Admin
Charged an MG site in order to distract it in order for a downed Marine to be recovered, suffering serious injuries in the process.

Fung sat with my body, alone and under fire and patched me back up. When I was shot again moments later he carried me on his shoulders for about a quarter mile, again under enfilading enemy fire. A regular hero, the platoon will mourn his loss.

Dear Sally Mae,

Today I faked a dental appointment to get out of the mission. I think my Platoon didn’t notice, I spent the day relaxing in my hooch and then snagged a flight to Saigon early the next morning. I can’t wait to relax all weekend, beer in hand. Those silly jarheads won’t even know I’ve left!
