Commendations

Ahhhh, it's SO GOOD to be back in Nam. And Jon's poured so much glorious effort into this framework.

Playing as a CSAR team was tremendous fun, and I thought as much even when I was bleeding out.

Timely control of emergency medical situation under extreme enemy threat. SA Howser also provided excellent tactical suggestions to members of Endgame to allow them to remain combat effective during communications black out periods.

Shit hot delivery of warheads on foreheads by Sandy 2. I always had confidence that he maintained situational awareness of my position as well as friendly and enemy positions on the ground. Very accurate air to ground delivery of ordnance, and improvised effective procedures when we lost PRC-77 contact, allowing us to continue to use the Spud's firepower effectively even without radios.

Provided accurate and sustained fire allowing EGR to make a difficult crossing across a rope bridge, rescued a downed colleague and brought them to treatment under fire

For pulling a hapless crashed pilot out when I had wandered into Chelt machinegun fire in Da Krong; Pointer remains a Father to His People, who will Leave No One Behind.

Captain Norman J. Scatter, United States Air Force, distinguished himself by outstanding meritorious service as Forward Air Controller, 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during Operation Ardent Ripple on 5 January 2024. While conducting forward air control in support of a joint personnel recovery operation, Captain Scatter lost all communications with other supporting CAS aircraft. With friendly forces heavily suppressed by North CheltNam fire, he quickly developed non-verbal fire support coordination measures. This enabled Air Force A-1 Skyraiders to provide emergency air strikes, providing essential air support during the operations most critical moments. His quick thinking ensured the survival and recovery of two downed aircrew, and the successful extraction of the entire team. The distinctive accomplishments of Captain Scatter reflect great credit upon himself, the United States Air Force, and the Department of Defense.

Assaulted and neutralised an enemy strongpoint pinning down the squad and hampering retrieval of downed pilot. Torrent maneuvered around the strongpoint and when spotted charged the enemy held position, clearing it out single handedly.
