Operation Introducing Representation

TACAIR Employed:

PATROL UNIFORM - 2 ship flight of A-1 Skyraiders with 12 x Mk82 snakeye and 7 x Mk83 each. Employed NE of village to break up infantry attack, S of village over the river with Mk83 to destroy a massed attack in the jungle, 1 Mk82 close in on an RPG team, and 2 Mk82 on vhicles NE of the village.

LITMUS BRAVO - 2 ship flight of USN A-4 Skyhawks, with napalm and hydras. Napalm employed against a mass infntry attack W of the village, marked by PFC Volcano's smoke. Rockets expended N of the village at infantry attacks; one A-4 pilot hit during his run and hit BLUFOR. Pilot presumed KIA; no crash seen.

COLUMBIA CHAMPION - 2 ship flight of USN A-6 Intruders each with 2 x Mk82 laser guided bombs. Employed against infantry W of the village, light tanks attacking from the N of the village and infantry again in the W.

SPOTLIGHT TWO ONE - 1 ship flight of C-47 flare ship, employed to give illumination as night fell. Lost to engine damage, crew bailed out 4km away and were CSAR'd.

QUEBEC TWO SIX - 4 ship flight of A-7 Corsairs each armed with 12 cluster dispensors. Emplyed against trucks and infantry E of the village, then again against a tank column moving in from the E.
