SM Torpex was a credit to the Navy in her endles work to keep all vehicles moving and in acceptable repair. Without her valient efforts in patching fuel tanks, changing wheels, and repairing armourments the convoy would have failed to reach it's goal, and the ammunition would have been taken, or exploed by hostile forces. In addition, her bridge clearances ensure it was safe to move the vehicles across, and saved the eed to plot lengthy alternative routes through heavy jungle. Her work was, as always, exemplory, especiually when it's considered that there were no boats, or indeed seamins, to be found.

Even under fire and risk of IEDs Torpex maintained the convoy vehicles, allowing the mission to be successful. In addition Torpex performed several EOD sweeps to allow safe travel through a number of potentially hostile areas.

Tasked with delivering a truck full of ammunition from LZ to Camp Sarge, Endgame Red deployed with the truck itself, and an M113 and Sheridan as escort. Expecting ambuses along the route, Yellow Team were tasked as infantry screening and Blue Team as vehicle drivers. They first encountered a small market by a local shrine which they passed peacefully, but on the way to the next tributory they came under fire from an hostile infantry. The infantry moved forward to clear, with the M113 to assisting from cover. A short firefight ensued before the area was cleared and the convoy progressed.

This pattern of events repeated itself many times, including once when a hostile fortification required mortaring by the ever helpful Wildcat battery of 120mms. Despite several hot engagements, the convoy made it intact Camp Sarge, signing off the ammo to the camp forces mere months before a crashing Skyraider landed on it, destroying it, the S4 and several other bits of camp infrastructure.
