Pvt Hailmary absolutely did not brass up any civilians or set light to any huts. He only shot baddies, and even then only when they asked nicely. Scouts honour.

Courage and aggression when storming the enemy mortar positions and quick thinking when Blue teams position was over run allowed blue team effect needed support when called upon. Hailmary also supported casualty extraction when under heavy fire, allowing downed Marines to be medevac in the final withdrawal of EGR.

Orientation

Endgame Red is presently located at Dak Pek Firebase in the NE of Dak Pek Province.
The objective area is located SSW in the region of Sa Dec.

Operations Order

A platoon (~40) of PAVN regulars is presently garrisonning the village of Sa Dec, confirmed by aerial reconnaissance four hours ago. They are equipped with small arms and emplaced weaponry including light mortars. They are expected to defend on contact and withdraw once below fighting strength.
Endgame Company's objective is to locate the North CheltNamese facility in the Sa Dec area and recover captive US forces from the facility. Endgame Green is operating to the west of Dak Nang securing exit routes to the south of the AO. Endgame Blue is garrisonning Bac Phone securing exit routes to the west of the AO. 22nd Sqdn RVNAF is assigned to provide TACAIR elements. Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 has been assigned to provide CAS elements. 57th Medical Detachment (Helicopter Ambulance) has been assigned to provide medevac support. Marine Transportation Helicopter Squadron 241 has been assigned to provide airlift.
3 Troop 2 Sqn SASR remains attached.

On order, Endgame Red will assault and secure the village of Sa Dec in order to secure intelligence relating to the location of the prison facility. This is the Main Effort.

Endgame Red will transit to the AVRN outpost at Con Ho via helicopter and proceed on foot west to the attack position in squad column, fire team wedge. The attack formation will be squad wedge, fire team wedge. The assault formation will be squad on line, fire team skirmishers left (south). After consolidating on the objective, assign overlapping sectors of fire, gather ACE repoorts from fireteam leaders and report to higher. CAS helicopter support and TACAIR will be used to attack defensive positions outside the village perimeter, on call.
The assembly area is Con Ho AVRN outpost. The attack position is 080025. The line of departure is 079E. The assault position is at 076025. AA to Atk Pos is 270 Magnetic, 750m. Atk Pos to Aslt Pos is 285 Magnetic, 425m and is Hill263. Aslt Pos to Obj is 310 Magnetic, 200m and is the fenced but not fortified central compound of Sa Dec.

We will conduct self aid, buddy aid, then corpsman aid for all casualties. Consolidate casualties on the assault position during the assault. Consolidate casualties in the center of our 360 upon consolidation of the objective. Critical casualties will be evacuated via medevac helicopter lift, on call, if LZ is cold.
EPWs and civilians will be guarded and delivered to the platoon sergeant upon completion of the mission. Standard loadouts will be carried. A resupply drop is available with one basic load for all troops, on call. Transport helicopters will be on standby to transport the unit to the assembly area.

Higher is monitoring 30.00 Mhz. Callsign is "SUNRAY". Medevac and Logistics are monitoring 31.00 Mhz. Callsigns are "MEDEVAC" "SUPPLY" and "TRANSPORT". TACAIR and CAS co-ordination are monitoring 32.00 Mhz. Callsigns are "FASTMOVERS" and "GUNFIGHTERS". Where necessary, individual element callsigns and frequencies will be provided by co-ordination teams on appropriate channels.
Blue smoke represents friendly positions and should not be used for any other purpose. Red smoke represents hostile positions and should not be used for any other purpose. Concealment smoke should not be used as a reference for TACAIR or CAS. Purple smoke indicates critical emergency where radio communication is not possible and will initiate PRAIRIE FIRE if observed.
We will use voice command throughout. Platoon commander will be located with Blue Squad, Platoon Sergeant with Yellow Squad. Succession of Command will be Platoon Commander to Platoon Sergeant to Blue Team Leader to Yellow Team Leader.
