Pvt Burgerboy awarded Navy and Marine Corps Medal: AWARDED Navy and Marine Corps Medal (NMCM) for excellent skills in small boat handling in extremely challenging conditions during littoral combat operations under the banner of Operation Dancing Proposition, resulting in a mere two ramming fatalities compared to the other squad boat.
Pvt Beltfed awarded Navy and Marine Corps Medal: AWARDED Navy and Marine Corps Medal (NMCM) for showcasing off-duty development of elite mountaineering skills during search and destroy operations in Ha Long Bay as part of Operation Dancing Proposition, demonstrating that physical limits and even the laws of gravitation can be overcome by a sufficiently motivated Marine attempting to locate North Cheltenamese defensive positions.
PFC Misstep awarded Bronze Star Medal: POSTHUMOUSLY AWARDED Star to their Bronze Star Medal (BSM) for actions during the assault on an enemy island bunker complex as part of Operation Dancing Proposition. Without thought for his own personal safety, PFC Misstep seized the initiative and led a storming assault up the strongly held mountain staircase of the secondary landing area, clearing several fixed positions which had been pouring fire down upon the platoon as it disembarked from landing craft, before falling unconscious from wounds taken in the effort.
Cpl Morse awarded Navy and Marine Corps Commendation: AWARDED Star to their Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V (NMCCM-V) for their efforts in defending the aid station during a mass-casualty event on the main island during Operation Dancing Proposition, allowing the advance to continue and ground gained to be retained without forcing the platoon to retreat to counter the assault from the rear.
SA Wrench awarded Navy and Marine Corps Commendation: POSTHUMOUSLY AWARDED Star to their Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V (NMCCM-V) for closing on an enemy crewed weapon position and clearing it with accurate use of hand grenades, allowing the rest of the platoon to move up and avoid the ambush from a waiting concentration of enemy infantry.
PFC Gucci Mentioned in Despatches: AWARDED Mention in Dispatches (MID) for leadship during mountain island battles as part of Operation Dancing Proposition. With squad command devolved upon them, PFC Gucci kept their unit moving past multiple enemy fixed positions and ensured casualties of earlier assaults were recovered and treated.
1Lt Greensquare Mentioned in Despatches: AWARDED Mention in Dispatches (MID) for engaging enemy defensive positions at close range with bombing runs to drive the enemy out and into the waiting USMC forces, allowing the unit to avoid the casualties involved in close-assaulting prepared defenses during island battles as part of Operation Dancing Proposition, and succeeding in seriously demoralising the North Cheltenamese Forestry Corps.
