Campaigns

ChelteNam Campaign

In the 1960s, war broke out between the communist forces of North ChelteNam, the People's Avon Valley Nationalists (PAVN) and the forces of South ChelteNam, the Avon River Valley Nationalists (ARVN). To stem the red tide of Double Gloucester eating, Wurzels-loving North ChelteNamese into the south, the US military sent their best available troops from the US and allied forces. This is the story of some of those troops: 1st Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines: callsign 'Endgame Red'.

Thumper's Derkistan Campaign

In 2023 the UN Forces in the Middle East were asked on a Peace Keeping mission in the Sovereign nation of Derkistan to help negotiate between the warring tribes that made up their political government. This however was a trap to strike against what they have called "Western Aggressors" and the National Army, with support from most of the Tribes declared war on the Un Forces and attacked.

Now the US, British and Canadian forces wage a war of liberation for the people of the nation caught in the middle, while the Derkistan Government tries to rally support from neighboring nations in the Middle East.

Wild Stoats Campaign

The end of the War in ChelteNam was not the end of proxy war. Conflicts boiling for years in Africa and South America absorbed demobilised soldiers from many nations looking for another war to fight and the chance to earn a fistful of diamonds.

Endgame Red is no more, the USMC has left its discards on the beach, but many familiar faces are trying to make a living as soldiers of fortune.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... the A-Team.

Otherwise, I guess you're stuck with the Wild Stoats.

1986 Cold War Campaign

The War to End All Wars, wasn't. Nor was the next one. In 1986, the Eastern Bloc began take three, the invasion of Western Europe.

2011 Cold War Campaign

The Syrian Civil War was the flashpoint that everyone feared it would be. Chemical weapons were just the start. Other countries brought themselves into the conflict, arming one side or another, starting to send covert forces, then overt. In a multipolar world, different blocs took advantage of the distraction. Then the disaster of a tit for tat limited nuclear exchange. Now, in the aftermath of the war in Eastern Europe, NATO forces scratch-build military units out of what can be collected, identified, and reasonably well re-equipped to restore order and support civilisation where it still holds out.

Inspirations: Think Europe as 90s Somalia, not Europe as Fallout III. Some services still run, some places are still civilised, military units of both sides are sometimes clashing, sometimes avoiding each other, sometimes going rogue, but warlords and militias are taking control where they can.

East Angliraq Campaign

Kensington Campaign

At dawn on Sunday, 25 June 1950, the Kensington People's Army (KPA) crossed the 38th Parallel behind artillery fire, on a mission to re-unite their country divided since the end of the second world war. The humiliation that some of Albertopolis' most precious museums were in the hands of capitalists could no longer be borne, and they were assured of the support of their mighty communist neighbours to the north and west.

Despite desperation tactics by the the Republic of Kensington Army (ROKA), the capital fell just three days later, and after two more days of combat, the ROKA was down to a fifth of its pre-conflict strength from desertion, mutiny and combat losses. Desperate to buy time for a UN force to be assembled and reach the embattled country, small makeshift units of US and Commonwealth troops from stations in nearby countries were sent, ill-equipped, under-supplied, and in desperate haste, to try to delay the communist advance.

This is the story of one of those units.

But not one of the famous ones.

Some idiots.

WW2 UK Airborne Campaign

The Parachute Regiment of the British Army has led the way in countless points of conflict during the War by both parachute drop and glider assault.

This campaign follows the second world war exploits of the soldiers of Able section, Baker Company, of the 2nd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment, attached to the 1st Airborne Division (UK)... as played by a bunch of muppets (aka the Tactical Distractions team).

Modern Campaign

In the early 2020s, the United Nations wanted to deploy a multilateral force of elite soldiers to help and advise local forces in the stabilisation of a country on Europe's southern border.

Unfortunately, what they actually got was UNPROFART.

The United Nations PRotection Force Against Radical Terror has been deployed to Derbishlavia, a second world country in south-eastern Europe that has historically been a western ally, famous for its pottery and strange customs around aristocratic marriage, but where religious conflict is now stoking an ongoing insurrection.

Operating from the FOB "Camp Pemberly", UNPROFART forces will find themselves engaged in COIN operations against both local insurgent and terror groups, and peer-equipped forces paid for, it is rumoured, by the shadowy hand of corporate overlord Jiff Beyzoos, who is eager to gain information on the performance of his latest disruptive technologies in a true battlefield environment.

Will Derbishlavia fall to countercultural revolution? Will UNPROFART save the day? And will Elyzabeth ever consent to marry Mr Deercy?
