Capt Scatter awarded Silver Star Medal: For his instrumental role and heroic actions during the rescue of Space-O the Wonder Dog from the perfidious grasp of communism, rising to the challenge of simultaneous co-ordination of heavy lift slinging, direct forward air control, forward observation and ground combat, remaining exposed in position during heavy and aggressive massed assaults by Chelt forces making use of machine gun and armour to use danger close fires and close air support to blunt the attacks until the rescue operation could be completed during Operation Normal Turf.
2Lt Havercruft awarded Silver Star Medal: For leadership, determination and dedication to duty in near-hopeless situations during the rescue of Space-O the Wonder Dog, keeping the unit together and ensuring that the recovery of a vital American asset was successfully carried out despite intense opposition in Operation Normal Turf.
Sgt Sauceman awarded Navy and Marine Corps Medal: For excellent leadership in some very difficult tactical situations, particularly in holding the squad together when pinned by enemy infantry, with IDF on the way and significant casualties, maintaining its cohesion and ensuring the unit was able to recover and reorganise for mission success during Operation Normal Turf.
Pvt Goat awarded Navy and Marine Corps Medal: For supporting casualty recovery under combat in challenging conditions during Operation Required Sandwich and Operation Normal Turf.
Pvt Disco awarded Bronze Star Medal: For fighting with extreme bravery and tenacity during the recovery of Space-O the Wonder Dog, storming an enemy defensive line to allow escape from a kill zone, and preventing the defensive line being breached as Space-O's capsule was being extracted.
SA Bungalow awarded Bronze Star Medal: For actions preserving squad survival during intense combat in the recovery of Space-O the Wonder Dog during Operation Normal Turf.
SA Tylenol awarded Bronze Star Medal: For storming an enemy machinegun position without thought for their own safety, killing all but one of the opponents before being incapacitated, buying time for the rest of the squad who had previously been pinned by the position to move in and successfully overrun the point during Operation Normal Turf.
Unit awarded Presidential Unit Citation: For the recovery of Space-O the Wonder Dog during Operation Normal Turf, ensuring American Canine Dominance in the Space Race and protecting civilian morale on the home front to a significant degree.
PFC Slump Mentioned in Despatches: For recovering several wounded team members whilst under sustained fire, fighting off several Chelt pushes whilst giving medical aid to critical cases, allowing him to move them a considerable distance to the aid station during Operation Normal Turf.
Pvt Tubular Mentioned in Despatches: For bravely exposing himself to enemy fire in order to destroy with precise bazooka fire an enemy flame tank suppressing the entire platoon during Operation Normal Turf.
