Resupplying

As you progress through a mission, you are likely to use up consumables such as ammunition, medical supplies, food and water. It's never a great feeling to point your weapon at the enemy, only to hear the 'click' of an empty chamber and no magazines left to refill it, so it's recommended to tell your buddy or squad leader when you are running low on supplies.

Supplies can then be called in, by truck, aircraft, or you may be redirected to a friendly base or camp.

S4 Resupply

	If resupplying (or changing from garrison loadout to combat loadout) in a friendly base, you should look for the S4 building. It will have a green sign on it and an NPC inside.
	Even if there is no S4 hut, the S4 NPC may be loitering around somewhere in the base instead, and has the same functionality. When you approach him, you should see a red option saying Reset Loadout. Hit SPACE to do this. You will now be in your combat loadout.

Crate Resupply

During a mission, supply crates may be brought in by parachute, truck, or found in the local environment. These work exactly the same as an S4 except they can only be used once per character per mission. It is possible to ACE interact with crates using the Windows Key to carry or drag them, or load them into vehicles,While carrying a crate, you can scroll wheel up/down to raise/lower the height of the crate so you can see where you're going.

If you have set up radios etc., you will need to redo this after resupplying. Earplugs will remain in and do not need to be reset.

Food and Drink

	For food, get close to a box and a red Draw Food Ration message will appear. Hit SPACE to do so. You can do this once per food crate, per character, per mission. Note that if you do not have space in your inventory for more food, this resupply will be wasted if used.
	For water, get close to the barrel and use ACE Interact (Windows Key). You will have options to drink from source, refill any empty or half-empty canteens, check the remaining water level, or cool your weapon.

Medical Resupply

Independent medical crates may be found in the local environment or dropped for use. These usually contain bandages, blood, morphine, epinephrine, splints and tourniquets. Interact with these crates with the scroll wheel when the option of Inventory is shown.

Calling for Supply

Resupply can be requested by anyone with a long range radio, but limited resupply may be possible within a single mission, so be careful when to call for it.

You may be redirected to a nearby cache or base, a vehicle such as a helicopter, boat or truck maybe despatched to you (which may need to be defended from enemy attack), or it may be parachuted in to you. If it is dropped by parachute, consider wind direction (you can check this with SHIFT K) and any obstructions such as trees and rivers as the parachutes will drift. You don't want your precious resupply landing in the middle of the water where you can't get it!

Vehicle Logistics

It is possible to load resupply crates (and other items) into the cargo space of some vehicles using ACE interact with the Windows Key. You should hold or place the crate near the vehicle and one of the options available should be Load into <vehicle type>.

Interacting on the vehicle will give the option of Cargo to show what's already in the vehicle's cargo space, and you should be able to select and unload specific cargo from the vehicle as required.
