Whilst in machinegunner position of a Churchill AVRE, neutralised multiple infantry threats to the vehicle and the coordinated armoured push. Sustained wounds but continued to man her position allowing for tank to maintain momentum and breach German defensive positions. Also, whilst under sustained fire, located mission objective in the town allowing for successful completion of the mission.

Was at the forefront of several successful assaults into enemy positions, sustaining injuries but maintaining the momentum of the attack. Whoosh destroyed a number of key concentrations and used the spigot mortar in the Churchill AVRE to aid in the breaching of enemy defensive positions.

Maintained operational cohesion with a friendly force of irregulars. Whilst in command of a mixed armoured group successfully assaulted a dug in enemy force that were embedded in an urban centre, breaching their perimeter and then leading an assault to blunt enemy counter attack.
