Operation Summary

Cleared cache south of Stoat Den for supplies, then move up to recce Marwey Airfield. Withdrew in good order whilst under fire and extracted without loss from a fluid and constantly changing situation. Stoats then successfully assaulted a bandit stronghold under cover of organic artillery element and preceded to disable several MLRS systems threating local businesses.

Observed at Marwey:
- Short platoon of infantry wearing white uniforms with green splotch pattern, dark helmets and Soviet weapons, 1 RPG-7 per squad.
- 2 x ZU-23 towed antiaircraft guns (East end of runway, north centre of runway, suspect there will be a third at west end of runway)
- 1 x M-113 APC, with red/white/(black/blue) tricolour markings
- 2 x 6-wheel military trucks
- 2 x "small BTRs" assessed as BTR-40 or 60 from verbal description.
- 1 x OH-6 Cayuse/MD-500 gunship with red/white/(black/blue) roundel markings
- 1 x Mi-6 HOOK heavy rtansport helicopter, marked with black hexagons on a white field.
- 2 x SCUD TEL vehicles with one missile each, delivered by Mi-6 flights from the North
- 1 x suspected HVT, designated FANCYPANTS, wearing black peaked officer's cap, black double breasted uniform jacket and blue trousers with yellow stripes down the sides. Appeared to have a beard.
