Operation Zigzag Falling

We went to garrison a Fire Base.
Girder went fencing all around the place.
It got dark and shit started exploding and pretty much didn't stop.
Bastard chelts blew up our resupply helo, then brought a tank to a rifle fight.
Broadside hopped on the AT gun and the tank was unhappy.

Daylight happened and we went to clear the route to the next town. Chelty wrecked our shit with arty in the weeds, so Top called an evac. Shrap and Bandit played hide and seek with the spotter and the spotter mostly won. Arty was coming down on the LZ so we fucked off and some folk had to walk home. We rearmed and rolled hard on the village in guntrucks, dismounting to chase Chelty at a roadblock. Made it to the village. Then someone shot me.

-someone said the spotter was on the skyline, so we hiked all the way up the hill and couldn’t find him. Ran all over the hillside and still couldn’t find him, started exfilling after the helios had got away. Turned round as we were running across the field and spot the fucker near the base of the hill. Drop a grenade on him while Bandit crept up on him and finished him off. Fucker. Had a jolly walk back to camp and only got shot a little bit on the way.
